Galerie Samia Mehdi in Crans-Montana is pleased to present a new exhibition by photographer Pierre Demain, entitled “The Soul of Machines in Light”, on view from July 18 to August 3, 2025.

In this new and previously unseen series, Pierre Demain explores our relationship with machines through a luminous visual language in which each image becomes a trace, an imprint of movement. With a sensitive and experimental approach, he reveals what technical objects leave behind: lines of force, vibrations, and visual signatures that verge on the calligraphic.

Far from static representation, these works capture the energy of mechanisms in motion, translating their rhythm and breath into a unique visual language. The artist thus creates a bridge between technology and abstraction, where each photograph bears witness to a presence — not mechanical, but almost alive.

The vernissage will take place on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 12:00 to 3:00 PM, in the presence of the artist.
